This Privacy Policy explains how VERO collects, uses, stores, and shares information when sellers and buyers use the VERO platform, including the seller app, buyer ordering pages, store links, QR code ordering flow, and related services.

Information We Collect

VERO may collect seller account information such as full name, phone number, store details, store branding uploads, bank details for transfer payments, billing email, and device tokens used for operational notifications.

VERO may collect buyer information such as name, phone number, store-specific session data, order details, payment status, pickup-related information, and optional report details submitted to support.

We may also collect technical information needed to keep the service working, such as app logs, notification delivery data, request metadata, device or browser identifiers, and security-related audit records.

How We Use Information

We use collected information to create and manage seller accounts, process orders, verify OTP login, support order status updates, and help sellers and buyers complete pickup and payment workflows.

We also use it to send operational notifications, prevent abuse, enforce rate limits, troubleshoot issues, review support reports, maintain admin audit records, and improve service reliability.

Payments

VERO does not run a wallet or escrow system. Payment on the platform is handled as cash or direct bank transfer between the buyer and the seller.

Bank details supplied by sellers are shown to buyers only for the purpose of direct transfer payments.

If a seller chooses paid VERO features such as Growth, VERO may process subscription-related billing information, transaction references, and payment status through approved payment providers.

Sharing of Information

VERO shares only the information necessary for the order flow between the buyer and the seller. For example, sellers may see buyer order details and contact information needed to fulfill an order.

We may also share data with service providers that support infrastructure such as hosting, cloud storage, notifications, payment processing, analytics, logging, email delivery, or SMS/OTP delivery where applicable.

We do not sell personal information.

Data Retention

We retain account, order, and operational records for as long as needed to operate the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain business records.

We may remove or anonymize some data when it is no longer needed for those purposes.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, but no system can guarantee absolute security.

Users should also protect their devices, PINs, and access credentials.

Your Choices

Sellers can update parts of their store and account information inside the seller app.

You can choose whether to allow browser or mobile push notifications, although some operational updates may be easier to receive when notifications are enabled.

Children's Privacy

VERO is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.
